In skincare products, hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate are two ingredients we often see. Is there a difference between hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate?
1. Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid food and cosmetic grade is essentially a large molecular acid mucopolysaccharide, which exists in the connective tissue and dermis of the human body. 2. Sodium Hyaluronate
It belongs to sodium salt. Because it contains more stable sodium, it is also a human skin component like hyaluronic acid. It is usually used in cosmetics to replenish water and brighten, keep skin smooth, supple, delicate, and elastic, and promote cell proliferation and differentiation.
