Silymarin is kind of a flavonoid lignans compound extracted from the seed coats of the medicinal composites Silybum marianum, light yellow powder, bitter in taste. It is soluble in Acetone, Ethyl Acetate, Ethanol and Methanol, Hardly soluble in chloroform,insoluble in water.
